Learning About Simple Machines

HS students PBE studentsPBE First Graders in Mrs. Todd’s class visited Homer High School’s Career,n Technical Education class.  PBE students learned about levers, pulleys and inclined planes while testing out their cars they made with the help of the HS shop students who cut and made the wheels.  They saw the torch in action and were even welcomed with signs!  This was an amazing interaction between Paul Banks students and Homer High school students.  Thank you Mickey Todd and Homer High students !HS and PBEStrengthTrip High SchoolWelding

Family Fun Night – “Bingo for Books”

We end our annual Read-A-Thon Fundraiser with a fun family night!  We give out the Read-A-Thon awards and play “Bingo for Books”!Our book table!  We had a huge crowd and fun was had by all!!

Blast Off and Read!

Paul Banks Read-A-Thon theme this year is “Blast Off and Read” Directions on “How to Build a Spaceship”  The Spaceship is built out of all recycled products.  The directions are being sent to the “Aliens” so they can visit planet Earth!

Paul Banks Foodservice does a Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program for our students.  Fresh fruit and vegetables are served three times a week in the afternoons! Teaching healthy choices!
